Why does the email address of the planner in the eBid look different from their actual email address?
Groupize uses some advanced technology to ensure that eBid responses and communications, either sent via the Groupize online response form or via regular email, are associated with a specific eBid on the planner's side of Groupize. Changing, sharing, or reusing the unique email address for any other purpose will break the connection--which may cause delays or confusion in the overall eBid process. That's not a good thing!
Do I have to respond to the eBid using the online response form or can I email the planner my own proposal in our standard format?
That's what's great about Groupize--you can respond to the eBid either way! Responding using the online response form is fast, easy, and will instantly populate your offer in the planner's side of Groupize. However, if you'd like to respond via email using your own proposal format, please remember to use the planner's email address provided in the eBid (and not another one you may have on file) so that your response is still captured in Groupize.
Will I be notified if our property wins/loses a bid?
Maybe. Just like with other methods of managing leads, it's up to the Planner to communicate if your offer is accepted or declined. Groupize makes it easy for Planners to do this; they can simply change a status and an email template is automatically fired off to you!
Can we update our contacts in your database so the right people at our property receive the eBid notification emails?
Absolutely! Just send an email to hotels@groupize.com and one of our Support Agents will assist you.
