How to Respond to an eBid in Groupize: Step-by-Step Instructions
You've just received an email notification of an incoming eBid from a client. Congratulations on receiving a lead for new group business!
Follow these easy steps to respond to the eBid either directly in Groupize or via email.
STEP 1 - Review the Notification Email
- The email notification contains all the requirements of the event.
- Be sure to open any attachments. It could be additional detailed specifications or an important contract addendum.
STEP 2 - Choose Your Response Method
- Enter your bid details directly in Groupize via the online response form.
- Send an email with your own proposal. (NOTE: If sending your own proposal via email, DO NOT change the unique email address provided. Doing that will cause your response not to be associated with this eBid.)
STEP 3 - Complete & Submit the Online Response Form (if choosing option 1)
- Enter you offer section by section.
- All sections have a details/notes area to help explain your offer.
- Add any attachments & your contact info.
STEP 4 - Receive Confirmation of Submitted eBid
- You will receive the notifications/communications for eBids since you provided your contact info in the response.
STEP 5 - Negotiate with the Planner
- Communicate via email with the planner.
- DO NOT change the unique email address provided. Doing that will cause your communications to not to be associated with this eBid.
STEP 6 - Contract for the Business
- You may receive a notification that the planner would like you to provide a contract.
- Submit a copy of the proposed contract via email, making sure you DO NOT change the unique email address provided.
